Now Open: Rainbow Caverns!

Very cool flyer with terrific visual flair. I particularly love the mention of Mineral Hall, which doesn't get much press. And to answer a question from the comment board, it appears that Prof. Keller was still doing his thing in the Summer of 1956 even though the MMC had closed months before.

Jed: I was trying to figure out exactly where Keller performed in his second season. The giant tent should have come down because of the Junior Autopia, but I don't know where this second tent (described by the NT as at the foot of Main Street) was. Why doesn't the flyer tell us THAT? :)

Progressland, I think (but am not sure) that I have a slide in which you can see the Junior Autopia up WITH a large circus tent among the cars. I'll have to see if I can find it.

As for the "foot of Main Street", I can't imagine where it would be.

Major, I think I might have seen a picture like that... maybe in an "E" Ticket? I wonder what they did with the tent before Holidayland opened. Storage? And where is it now? It was the largest striped candy tent in the WORLD!
