Now Open: Nature's Wonderland and More!

...and we're back.

Welcome to the 1960's. This handsome 2-sided flyer isn't all that rare, but it is tough to find in crisp shape. The design here is really something...I wonder if anyone knows who was responsible for this fine work. It's perhaps the most handsome of all the Now Open/Coming Soon flyers. I visited Disneyland in 1974 or 1975, and I have the faintest of faintest memories of riding Nature's Wonderland and thru Rainbow Caverns. I wish I could ride it right now.

LOVE those graphics on the NW flyer!

This has been one of my favorite handouts as well. The Nature's Wonderland side is based upon Union Pacific advertising handbill of the 1880s for Western train trips. The program that was given to the press is also very graphic.

Do you have the program? I don't and have only seen one signed by WD that Phil Sears was selling a few years back. And that one was pretty ripped up.

Wow, Matterhorn's info is very interesting. I'd love to see that original program. I'd also love to find one of these flyers without any folds!!
