Coming Soon: a New Adventureland in '62!

This isn't really a coming soon flyer, but I've included it anyway. It's one of the innumerable ticket price flyers that Disneyland printed in myriad variations during the 50's and 60's. I wonder if anyone has (or is capable of having) a complete set. At any rate, there are many interesting things about this flyer, including a plug for the fabulous "Bird Room" restaurant. Sound familiar?

By the way, that previous posted Monorail flyer about connecting to the Disneyland Hotel actually predates this one, but I didn't want to go into reruns already.

I am working on a set. The good thing is most of the brochures are dated/numbered in code. I believe I am about three quarters of the way there.

I am about 1/4 the way there! I do wonder if anyone has them all? That could be a blog all by itself! Thanks for this neat brochure, I'd die for one on those 1962 "Passports to Disneyland"!

My earliest Disneyland attendance memory was from Easter Week of 1961; we received thin red ribbons bound around our wrists that permitted us to bypass ticket-based admission and simply show our ribbons to the Ticket Taking Cast Member for admission. As far as I can recall there were no other indicia, dangle tags, or attachments - just the red ribbon. I do recall that this was an experimental program that may have been promoted to a convention group of which my father was an attendee.
