Look closely, though, this one is different: the date on the certificate is pre-dated "195__", which makes it exclusive to the park's opening years. Are there versions that are dated "196__"? I've never seen one; if you have, please let me know!
Most of these certficates read "19___", which places them later in the park's years or at least after 1959.
Are these still given away? Does the date now read "20__"?

I'll have to look at one I gave to my to-become wife when I was the Pilot in the 70s and report back.
Sadly, these are no longer given away--but "pilots" are still able to sign the guestbooks. I have versions of these for Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.......but dis Walt Disney World ever offer these for the Richard F. Irvine or the Admiral Joe Fowler??
My certificate only has the date "19___". This is from the mid 1970s.
I have 3
one is from 1958 with my name
one is unsigned from the 90's
and one unsigned from TDL in the 90's
I love them all!
Thanks for a great Disney blog! https://www.DBL07.co/
Not sure this blog is still active, but wanted to share. Just found one in my grandmother's things, belonged to my great grandmother. She became a pilot in 1958. They had to cross out the word "him" and write in "her"! How times have changed.
