I'm Fine, Thanks

Thanks for all of your emails of concern for both my back, but more importantly (for you, anyway) my blog.

During my recovery, doing the blog with all of the schleping of binders in and out of storage and my poor posture at the computer made posting impossible. Then, I got better and posting just seemed like a pain, even with all of you out there wondering what the hell happened to me and very nicely waiting for me to resume. I dunno...the truth of it is...I guess I just lost my mojo for it. And, I'm busy as hell.

So...I guess I need to find a way to regain my enthusiasm again. Any ideas?

I have always found that just looking through my collection re-invigorates my desire to post. I recommend spending some quality time with your stuff, and just enjoy yourself looking at some of your favorite items, and rediscover cool things you forgot you had. The rest will follow.

Glad to hear you are doing better. Matt said it well, take your time looking thru the stuff you like, then the posts will follow. How about asking for some requests? I know you have more ticket related items, lets see um... Tim

I suggest you let Riley pick some things out to post....

I agree, Matt's suggestion is a good one. I still have fun going through my slides and other Disneyland collectibles, and the few really good items I have definitely get my enthusiasm going.

Also, the blog should be fun and not a chore... maybe just let yourself post when the mood strikes. Possibly twice a month, or something like that. Shouldn't be too hard!

Hello Vintage Goodies: I have been looking at your blog off and on for about a year and noticed you had stopped posting.

I just found this post.

Sorry to hear you are not well. Maybe you are better after a year off. I agree with our mutual friends in the other blogs, enjoy your collection and resume if you can, but if not, don't feel bad.

Anyway, thanks for what you did. I appreciated what you have done very much.

Best regards.
