1957 Ruggles China & Gift House Mailer

I have a bunch of Disneyland store catalogs and mailers like this one. There's something cool about this sort of paper from the park. Maybe it's that they're so ephemeral and were never meant to be kept. Or, maybe they make all of our favorite souvenirs that much more connected to the park since we have evidence that yes, they were in fact sold there.

Whatever...I like them.

I think I've seen Marie Osmond dolls on ebay called "Adora-belles" or something to that effect. Let's all start collecting those! ;-)

Neato paper item. I’m always tempted to fill these out and mail them in. I once filled out a form from a 1962 Life Magazine for an 8¢ coupon from general mills. The mailed me two $1 coupons!

P.s. I really want this too....

So...Ruggles ran the China Shop back then? I've never seen that name associated with it... Nice item...

I hope you dont mind, but i used your picture of the ruggers mailer with the umbrella girls for my auction on ebay. I have one of the same girls up for auction this week. I thought it would be such a wonderful addition to my ad. I did say that the pic came from your blog. Check it out just search Ruggers and that should bring it up, or www.treasurebyrobin.com.
